Delete your account

You can delete your Tag Hunt account, and the personal data with it, at any time.

In the app

1. Open the Profile tab and choose Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Type your password and confirm.

Without the app

Write to contact@taghunt.site from the email address of your account and ask for it to be deleted. We do it within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

• Deleted at once: your email, hunter name, country, last position, friends, challenges, logbook comments, and the notes and photos on your finds. Nobody can sign in to the account again.
• Kept without your name: treasures you hid stay on the map for others, and your finds stay counted in those treasures' totals.
• Kept as the law requires: records of sticker orders (name, address, phone), for the period required of sellers.
• Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
